Maintenance Electrical Technician
Augusta, GA
Join our manufacturing team as an Electrical Technician and help keep our equipment operating safely and reliably. You’ll troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety, you’ll help solve problems and improve equipment performance across the plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls, and production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on programmable logic controller (PLC) controlled equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Inspect equipment for hazards, defects, and needed repairs.
- Install and replace equipment components using blueprints, specifications, and hand tools.
- Document completed work and preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety, OSHA, food safety, and quality requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and PLCs.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to document work orders.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred: Associate degree, technical degree, or electrical trade certification.

The base compensation range for this position is $43.17/hr - $46.58/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
