About the Role:
Responsible for ensuring 3PL meets Performance and Operational expectations. This position is the primary liaison with the 3PL. Works with the 3PL to ensure that customer orders are appropriately prioritized and fulfilled on time and in full on a daily basis. This role also facilitates the continuous improvement processes at the 3PL; they ensure that there are regular Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reviews with the 3PL and that the required action plans are created and executed to closure.
• Lead the 3PL and Operations team responsible for matching loads, scheduling shipments, ensuring on time pick-up and delivery, and maintaining positive relationships with 3PL
• Drives KPI reviews with 3PL and ensures they have appropriate action plans
• Stock analysis and stock GAPs corrections
• Ensures that the 3PL interface is functioning as expected.
• Proof of delivery monitoring
• 3PL Warehouse evaluation
• Controlling 3PL operations cost
• Suggestion of action plans for continuous improvement
