About the Role:
The Category Manager for Facilities has to ensure the complete end-to-end procurement process for the assigned General Procurement categories:
- Travel Services
- Company Vehicles
In particular, the new team member will be leading the supplier scouting & qualification process, vendor relationship model, tendering process, negotiations and contract signing, in accordance with defined guidelines, with the target to create value ensuring that company’s operational needs are met, fostering innovation, sustainability and managing risks.
SUPPLIER BASE DEFINITION AND MANAGEMENT
To guarantee the scouting and the definition of the supplier base according to criteria of quality of service, cost, sustainability, market benchmarking, flexibility, Ferrero cultural fit, in order to have the best partnership and bring the most value to the company business.
Manage the portfolio of global suppliers, rationalizing existing one at global and region level and introducing new ones at global level.
Ensure knowledge of suppliers in a technical, organizational, economic and financial perspective.
Establish strategic scenarios and the relationship systems (key people, tools, annual agenda).
Ensure the correct implementation and development of activities in the managed category, through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
To guarantee, in collaboration with the Legal Department, Insurance Department,… the draw up of the contracts consistently with the Requesting Function specifications, the Master Service Agreements and non-disclosure rules in place in order to meet the need of the Requesting Functions and to reach the level of service established, at the best cost, highest quality and in compliance with the deadlines defined.
To guarantee the negotiations of the category assigned and manage the order delivery in order to respect the requirements, the timing, the costs, the quality defined, innovation and sustainability.
International price lists/catalogs to be implemented when applicable.
SOURCE TO PAY
Monitor and guarantee the right source-to-pay process (RFQ-PR-PO-SES-Invoicing) in order to respect the contract requisitions and the company financial terms established.
To monitor supplier’s performance in terms of economics, service level, financials, quality, innovation.
To guarantee the definition of the category strategy through an accurate spending analysis and market knowledge.
Ensure the strategy implementation by coordinating with business functions and region procurement (category strategy introduction, management of exceptions, review of feedbacks, any region adaptations).
To collaborate and support the Region General Procurement Managers and Group GP Category Leaders, in order to optimize and standardize the procurement processes, maximizing the process performance.
Who we are looking for:
- 5+ experience in indirect procurement with a focus on external services/outsourcing
- Master's Degree preferbaly in Business or Economics
- Knowledge of the global market dynamics and familiarity with corporate relationship model
- Proven capability in strategy definition and negotiation of long-term contracts
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Advanced proficiency in English, any other language is considered as a plus
