About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarters we are currently looking for a M&A Manager. Reporting to the Merger & Acquisitions Senior Manager, the successful candidate will operate in situations frequently requiring adaptation or development of new solutions through analytical, interpretative, evaluative, creative and innovative thinking, with a medium amount of guidance.
Main Responsibilities:
As the M&A Manager you will contribute in the identification and analysis of the “non-organic” business development opportunities conducting business analyses and performing pre-due diligence. In relation, you will perform business due diligence and assessment of target company, reference market having possible synergies with the Group.
Besides financial due diligence, modelling and valuation of the transaction, you will define the deal structure and business / operating mode while managing the relationship with the counterpart and coordination of third parties involved in the transaction (banks, legal advisors, industrial counselors, auditors, etc.).
Moreover, you will support negotiation on deal agreements' definition and contribute to the definition of the integration strategy.
Who we are looking for:
Profile
You will bring your Master’s degree (MBA is considered as a plus) and at least 2 years of working experience in business consulting within M&A-related environments performing roles in M&A and/or strategy team of a big corporation, Strategy consulting firm, M&A advisory or private equity firm. You have experience in M&A (acquisition & post-merger integration) within FMCG / Food & Beverage while experience in Consulting is preferred.
You have a solid finance knowledge (i.e. P&L analysis, analysis by index, ROI, VAN, NPV…), including company evaluation & financial modelling (knowledge on the main business processes in the FMCG sector could be an advantage).
You have solid analytical background and strong attention to detail, you have project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally.
Entrepreneurial skills, deep project/consulting skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are useful to succeed in this role.
You have fluency in English and have excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
You are available to travel, you are flexible and result orientated.
