About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg headquarters is looking for a Junior Toy Product Manager to join the Global Toy Office team, responsible for Kinder Surprise® and Kinder Joy ® toys development.
You will oversee the development of Toy collections for these iconic products and, under the guidance of the Global Catalogue Manager, ensure they meet kids’ and parents' expectations both from a toy/playability perspective and from a kid entertainment perspective, including the digital approach.
Together with the Manager and the Marketing team you will ensure that the Toy entertainment offer is cascaded through the organization, contributes to build Kinder equity and follows the brand strategic directions.
In this role, you will support the Toy development Project Manager in achieving the goals within the scheduled timing, while performing the Product Lifecycle Management. Your understanding of the strategic direction of the brand will allow you to translate it into a phygital experience (toy development + digital experience).
In particular, you will brief agencies regarding new mainstream Toys development and share creatives with the Technical team for developing the surprises. You will develop marketing leaflets around each Toy and participate in the final assortment creations to meet consumer needs as well as financial and industrial requirements. Regular updates with the latest assets will be presented by you to the team and you will carry out Volume & Cost planning analysis, contributing with legal and cultural checks.
Moreover, you will support the Toy Development Project Manager in briefing the Research Department, coordinating the activities with the digital team and in the relations with the Licensing team and licensors.
Lastly, you will analyse Toy market trends, support the new idea scouting process by helping organize workshops with agencies and licensors and build cross-functional relationships (Global Brand Managers, Legal, Technical, Industrial). You will create requisitions for goods and services acquired and ensure the completion of the process via SAP.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring knowledge from a degree in Economics, Marketing or equivalent, combined with 1-3 years of experience in marketing, product management in multinational FMCG companies or consultancies. You will effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders across levels and departments throughout the project lifecycle thanks to your strong project management, communication and influencing skills.
