About the Role:

The role is aimed to lead the IT Consumer center of expertise, in support of the business growth and systems evolution in the global and local application landscape, based on business requirements and Ferrero IT Strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and contribute to the business strategy, capabilities and process. Work with relevant stakeholders to identify business pain points and opportunities, provide suitable IT solutions under the integrated Group IT applications at local level and relevant local configurations and adaptations (e.g. to local laws)
  • Ensure local IT application system is aligned & complies with Corporate IT direction with the best interest to enable local business rapid growth
  • Deep dive of business requirements and be able to translate it into technical specifications, design end-to-end aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as Frontend, Backend, middleware technology and infrastructure components
  • Provide systems support and maintenance, ensuring the application systems stability, BAU (Business As Usual) and optimization
  • Ensure hands on incident management and follow up of application systems issues, managing the incident is response and resolved within the SLA
  • Manage systems upgrade and testing, providing IT systems service monitoring, analysis and improvement
  • Participate in the relevant business projects and contributing as a SME / PM respectively
  • Act as an application system project lead to manage project scoping, development, implementation, users training & close-up
  • Work on, coordinate, manage and leverage Corporate and local IT, internal and external resources to accomplish the job to meet and over the expectations
  • Have a good sense of system ROI, manage project budget / expenditures
  • Review / build up standard IT applications IMAD internal process to improve on working efficiency
  • Setup good documentation for traceability and follow up on the ICT application systems and provide regular update and reports on the operations and project progress

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in the related field
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience with solid knowledge and business understanding of FMCG industry, with demonstrated outcomes, achievements in digitalization, business process automation & IT application systems support
  • 5+ years of experience focused on the development of Digital, E-Commerce and Consumer Engagement projects
  • Strong experience with ICT systems solution in a related area, in enterprise E-Commerce applications and related touchpoints (Tmall, JD, Alipay), as well as in digital marketing and modern consumer engagement (CRM/CDP) applications
  • Profound knowledge in web-technology related projects, like responsive Websites, E-Commerce and Web-Apps, including WeChat
  • Strong knowledge of modern web-technologies (HTML5, CSS and JS) and of Cloud Computing, SaaS, IaaS
  • Experience in CDP solutions, preferably Hypers, and technical skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript & Angular preferred
  • Experience in Atlassian products and CI/CD tools (JIRA, Bitbucket) and knowledge in database technology (MS SQL, MySQL, No SQL) considered a plus
  • Understanding of Client / Server Technology (REST API, Authentication & data streaming), experience in Content Management Systems (Drupal), knowledge in Akamai Content Delivery Network Services are optional
  • Good communication skills, stakeholder management, supplier coordination and influencing skills
  • Customer focus and ability for multitasking, self-motivation and drive for results and ongoing development
  • Advanced level of English, fluency in Chinese
