About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Group Customs & Product Taxation Specialist who will become part of the Group Tax Customs & Insurance team.
In this position, you will support the team focusing on Trade & Customs Compliance. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide Customs support related to Finance topics such as duties, origin, valuation, Free Trade Agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing new flows at a Group level, while you will be coordinating local teams based in business units to ensure global customs compliance and Customs Policy Management’s application.
Moreover, as the Group Customs & Product Taxation Specialist you will be involved in the management and in conducting customs classification analysis as well as determining their origin. In relation, you will also provide support to subsidiaries for customs audits and requests. Additionally, you will provide guidelines to countries for managing customs regimes such as inward processing.
Among these responsibilities you will support in the building and implementation of the new customs management IT system.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your academic background in Economics, Accounting, Finance together with a minimum of 5 years of experience as Customs Specialist or with experience in customs in a company performing customs operations.
You will bring your knowledge in customs’ classification, origin and valuation, compliance, and customs regimes while ideally, you have broad knowledge and good understanding of customs rules related to food.
You work in a precise and methodical way; you are goal oriented and have a problem-solving and can-do attitude.
You enjoy working with people and you have strong communication skills as in this role you will need to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders. In relation, proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, and fluency in another European language will be considered an asset.
Lastly, your experience with MS Office and SAP will help you achieve your role’s objectives.
