About the Role:

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Category Development Executive, who will oversee the development and execution of the marketing strategies aimed at driving sales within specific retail channels as responsible for all 3 categories under which Ferrero Türkiye operates; namely Kinder, Nutella and Premium Chocolate.


This is an Istanbul based role and you will be directly reporting to the Trade Marketing Senior Category Development Manager. Main Responsibilities:

Shopper-focused Activity Planning:

  • Understand market dynamics and category needs and consolidate them with shopper needs
  • Work closely with CSU to understand and analyze different shopper typologies and create diverse offers based on the target
  • Work closely with channel specialists to finalize activities for different customers/channels
  • Monitor the sell-out performance of activities and optimize shopper based strategy

Market Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze category, competition and consumer market data in order to identify business opportunities and develop new category plans
  • Contribute to marketing projects and promotional activities

Category Development:

  • Finalize activity grids in line with marketing calendar
  • Define the placement guidelines for shelf, check-outs and secondary placement

Budget Management:

  • Work on the sales promotion budget per category considering profit 
  • Propose and track budget for the area of responsibility; including PR-PO creation
  • Support Category Manager to ensure that business objectives are in line with the budget
  • Support Category Manager for pricing
     

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferably 4 years of experience in relevant roles
  • Excellent communicator with strategic and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proactivity
  • Advanced level of MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills both in English & Turkish
