About the Role:

The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating the flow of inbound stock into the Ferrero Australia Network in addition to financial management of company 3PL freight providers. This includes document control, master data maintenance, container prioritization and processing of associated finances for customs brokerage, cartage and transport within the network. Additionally, the Logistics Executive will be mainly managing the daily operations of the distributor replenishment model for New Zealand. Continuous improvements and stakeholder management are part of the daily agenda.

The position will support the Logistics Manager and broader Supply Chain team via reporting of Logistics capacity, FEFO Management, Supply Chain KPIs and stock availability for local SKUs as required. When required the role will also offer leave coverage to the Logistics Inventory Analyst.

Although the core focus of the role is within Logistics, the Logistics Executive also helps act as a bridge within the Supply Chain team offering support to both Customer Service and Demand Planning via reporting and SKU updates to help support business activities.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Stock Management
o    Provide updates for stock issues/out of stock SKUs
o    Generate inventory reports
o    Investigate customer claims and stock queries
o    Analyze data to identify opportunities to optimize Logistics processes

•    Warehouse Management
o    Maintain KPI reports for Warehouse Services (Daily Capacity Reporting, FEFO Reporting, Stock Availability)
o    Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities to improve logistics flows through the warehouse
o    Support continuous improvement initiatives

•    Document and Data Management
o    Process any product or insurance claims arising out of incorrect or damaged shipments
o    Liaise with FAP Team and Company Factories on any supply performance issues with documentation
o    Communicate with stakeholders for the proper flow of data into SAP to facilitate Purchase Order automation direct from Ferrero Factories
o    Maintaining records as per Group Operating Standards and Audit requirements
o    Processing invoices of incoming goods, freight, customs brokerage and duties in line with Ferrero Authorization Matrix
o    Master Data Management where/as required.

•    Transport Management
o    Manage inbound containers by communicating and maintaining clear correspondence with Shipping lines, Trucking Companies, Custom Brokers and D.C. to ensure proper flow of inbound loads.
o    Maintain and keep up to date all shipment information in planning systems
o    Liaise with 3rd party warehouse on all inbound deliveries to ensure that stock is prioritized and is received at DC in order of need and all required paperwork is available for processing
o    Maintain KPI reports for Transport Services
o    Maintain and analyze cost to service data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

•    Cost Management
o    Cost Reporting on Weekly/Monthly Basis
o    Availability of documentation to facilitate custom clearance in a timely manner so as not to incur additional cost where it can be avoided
o    Co-ordination of transport and distribution so as to avoid additional cost resulting from the pickup and unloading of containers
o    Support tenders for Logistics services

Who we are looking for:

•    Technical Skills:
o    Working knowledge of Inventory Controls, Warehouse and Distribution networks, Customs Documentation and Customs Clearance Process, Finance and PO Management
o    Systems: Microsoft Excel (advanced), SAP
o    Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience is a must
o    Ability to work within weekly/monthly business cycles (i.e., Finance)

•    Soft Skills:
o     Ability to set and achieve goals
o    Ability to problem solve and set priorities
o    Ability to work effectively with others
