About the Role:

Ferrero’s success is driven, in part, by our continuous quest to deeply understand our shoppers and consumers. Increasingly we are extending this view to consumer behavioral data which tells us about how, where our consumers shop. This view informs our Media, Trade and Product strategies and is presented to our top management.

Ferrero’s central Business Intelligence &Analytics team is seeking a Data Analyst to work within the Advanced Analytics pillar and reporting to the Head of Advanced Analytics. The role is expected to become a point of reference for our growing catalog of in-house consumer data assets, responsible not only for sharing knowledge but also for planning our roadmap for further data integration.

Main stakeholders will be: 

  • Executive Chairman’s Strategy team, CEO and his Business Intellicence team, Global  Marketing Categories, Global Media, Sales Business Development, including eCommerce Global team
  • Ferrero IT, Colleagues in BI&A Unit working in Business Partnership pillar to support data understanding for their reporting projects
  • Colleagues in BI&A Unit working in Data Governance pillar
  • Potentially work with external agencies and data brokers as needed

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate  will be point of reference for in-house data models related to sell-out, consumer behavior and media activity including:

  • Global sellout data model 
  • Global Ad Tracking 
  • Media activity tracker
  • Consumer / Shopper panel 

She/he will work on daily basis with Advanced Analytics team to support data needs for analytic projects and with other Business Units and IT support team who have consumer data requirements to contribute consumer data knowledge to their projects (automated reports, dashboards).

Additional responsabilities include:

  • Contribute to strategic roadmap for connecting data in the consumer domain to provide reporting for all internal stakeholders
  • Define and communicate consumer master data taxonomy
  • Support eCommerce team in identifying critical KPIs to augment their channel understanding from online shopper perspective

Who we are looking for:


Bachelors degree in quantitative area like Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering etc. Advanced degree preferred.

5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably some of which in FMCG or manufacturer industry.

Experience with database models built on third party data sources, preferably sales data from Nielsen, IRI.

Understanding of other consumer data sources (surveys, 1st party/CRM, other digital, media, etc) and consumer surveys.

Interpretation of data from business standpoint.

Strong communication and presentation skills. 

Ability to navigate ambiguity and work without supervision.

IT skills:

Relational databases advanced knowledge (SQL), modern reporting tools (Power BI).

Familiarity with Informatica and SAP BI (BW,BO) suite.

MS Office package.


Fluency in English. Other languages helpful.
