About the Role:

To be based in our Business Unit in Israel, within the Africa & Levant Region, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager which will be opened in the near future. The Senior Brand Manager will contribute to the Business Unit success by achieving defined targets related to Profit and Loss, market share and competitive position for the Kinder category. Within the Category / Area strategy/guidelines and under Region Supervision, the Senior Brand Manager will define detailed strategies for the Brands in scope, developing and implementing ideas, projects and other required actions, by monitoring and managing costs (e.g. advertising, promo, research spend) to keep them within budget boundaries.

Main Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND BUDGETING

Is accountable for the P&L of the Category at Local Level.

In agreement with Region Category Management defines the budget plan by addressing and maximizing investments opportunities.

Is responsible for the brands marketing local strategy (marketing mix levers, consumer targets, product range, marketing tools, etc.).

CATEGORY PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Propose strategic actions (NPD, new formats / SKUs, new range, new positioning, etc.) in accordance with Region, Area & Global Presidencies guidelines.

Brings to the Region for approval any local instance Identified or ad hoc projects to meet specific category needs within the Country.

COMMUNICATION, ADVERTISING AND MEDIA

Is responsible for the communication strategy for the assigned Country and Category developing Region guidelines.

Participates to the media strategy definition providing inputs to the Region Media Manager.

Monitors the advertising spending and campaigns results, proposing, whenever it is necessary, alternative spending allocation and plan adjustment where required.

PROMOTIONS

Ensures that local consumer promotions are aligned with the overall brand strategy.

Ensures that promotions for the assigned Category are effectively managed in terms of equity, positioning at Country level, coherently with the Group and Region objectives.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

Plans and leads the continuous monitoring of brands and Market performance proposing and approving corrective actions to meet consumer needs.

Is responsible of data and insights understanding

Monitors projects and defines resources and priorities to be then discussed and approved by the Region.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT AND CONTROL

Participates to Category Review meetings and other ad-hoc meetings to contribute in identifying the proper strategic direction to strengthen business results.

Shares with the Country General Manager and Kinder Region manager key findings, risks and opportunities related to managed Category within the Country.

Shares with Region Marketing Manager business growth opportunities acting as key referent point for brands within the assigned category.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

Is accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowerment.

Recruits, manages, motivates, coaches and develops the team collaborators under its responsibility

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in marketing and running a marketing team gained within FMCG multinational business context.
  • Proven marketing campaign experience.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets as well as competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in working within matrix structure.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic. Effective time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must have; Hebrew preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
