About the Role:
For the Africa Levante Cluster team of Central-, East-, Westafrica and French Islands, we are currently looking for a Business Manager French & Emerging Islands based in Luxembourg.
Your main tasks will be:
Sales strategy and development
You will be developing the annual operational sales plan in agreement with Cluster Director, with a medium-term view, identifying market’s needs and volatility. The evolution of the market will be monitored by you in terms of Stock & Sales, Forecast accuracy etc.
Moreover, you will be working on managing the permanent, promotional and seasonal portfolio and yearly volume planning.
In order to formulate growth opportunities you will be analyzing the market and understanding the retailer's evolution as well as benchmark vs. competitors.
Additionally, you will be monitoring the market identifying sales opportunities and improving the penetration of the Ferrero brands, ensuring the overall profitability for the Company. With Group Risk Controlling and Finance, you will be managing the sales administration process.
You will be responsible for the achievement of agreed annual financial budget and all distributor’s related sales KPI’s for the assigned markets.
You will organize regular updates with Finance, GRC, Credit, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Supply Chain, PFM and Customer Service.
Additionally, you will be monitoring all the business deadlines of the company both internal and external, making sure that all the functions needed are cooperating to meet deadlines.
Legal commercial distribution aspects
You will be negotiating the annual agreements on prices and conditions and secure the commercial collaboration.
Additionally, you will prepare and manage the budget, monitor payments in cooperation with customer service and accounting teams.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum 8 years of professional or combined experience in Sales and Trade Marketing or Demand planning (nice to have), ideally within a FMCG company;
- Experience is managing distributors is a must;
- Marketing experience would be an asset;
- Experience or extensive exposure on export markets in different time-zone is a plus;
- Proficient in key responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting & effective business planning;
- Financial knowledge (P&L and trade spend management, pricing strategy, value chain analysis);
- Category/Portfolio development experience is a plus.
- Proficient level in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software
- Business proficiency in French and English is a must;
- Any additional language is considered a plus.
