About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are currently looking for a Project Development Specialist to support the Contract Manufacturing Department (CMD) in coordinating initiatives related to third-party manufacturing. Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the role represents a pivot and entry point for the evaluation of new projects and initiatives. It also contributes to the CMD development and integration through the improvement of the governance processes and by facilitating the sharing of best practices across the team and the geographies. This role offers the opportunity to get valuable insights into our overall Operations organization and ways of working at both HQs and in the Regions/Countries and it is a solid springboard for further development within our organization

Main Responsibilities:

Project and Program Management

  • Contributes to coordination of scouting activities aimed at assessing third party suitability for the Group (Technical Due Diligence)
  • Supports the Team Manager in the interfaces with other departments (e.g. Marketing)
  • Contributes to the successful design, monitoring and delivery of new projects from feasibility study till P&L analysis and go live
  • Supports the Team Manager on coordination of third parties-related industrial projects

Governance & Function Integration

  • Identify areas of improvement and proposes optimization of processes
  • Contributes to own function integration within the whole Operations organization
  • Supports the Team Manager in the coordination of the CMD Weekly Board
  • Supports the Team Manager in overseeing the projects portfolio and the CMD masterplan
  • Contributes to development of department’s KPIs in alignment with the Operations Dashboard

Who we are looking for:


  • University degree, preferably in Engineering
  • 2-3 years of work experience on project management-type roles
  • Previous experience in product manufacturing represents a strong asset
  • Comfortable in managing complexities with multiple variables
  • High attention to details and precision
  • Strong accountability and proactivity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally and effectively with senior management
  • Availability to travel
  • Project Management skills

IT Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Microsoft Power BI
  • Fluency with SAP environment and relative transactions


  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • The knowledge of any other language represents a strong asset
