National Account Manager - Foodservice

About the Role:
As the National Account Manager for Foodservice, you will develop and execute e-commerce and traditional national programs with all Foodservice wholesalers nationally to develop key brand commercial initiatives for Nutella. You will be building relationships internally and externally to grow the channel through the development of business plans and pull through strategies.
You will be working with wholesalers such as PFD, Bidfood, Campbell’s Cash N Carry, and Superior FS, amongst other state and national based wholesalers.
This role works within an exciting team, and in a channel where there is room for Ferrero to grow and there are plenty of opportunities available. You will be a mix of analytical and personable, with both traits being highly important for the role.
As the central contact for wholesalers, you will be responsible for developing our key accounts in alignment with Ferrero strategies for sustainable growth utilizing the Triple Win approach. You will need to be solution focused with any problems that arise with wholesalers.
You will identify and leverage drivers for growth across wholesalers, including investigating new business leads, and build specific actions to meet national sales targets. Developing business plans, creating cross functional opportunities and monitoring client performance will ensure that you can develop effective strategies for growth and identify opportunities for Ferrero and our wholesalers.
You will monitor the performance of our promotional activities, and be responsible for sales performance, budgets, and reporting against sales forecasts. Using your financial acumen and analysis skills, you will provide meaningful insight internally and to our clients on performance, and leverage these to create meaningful plans and strategies. This will require building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Who we are looking for:
This role requires you to be flexible, proactive, a self-starter and someone who can see the bigger picture. You will have a strong commercial acumen, the ability to think creatively with a strong understanding of the industry and FMCG. You are also someone with;
• 3-6 years’ of Foodservice client management experience within the FMCG sector
• Proven experience in developing branded propositions in Foodservice.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen coupled with exceptional communication skills
• Goal driven, with a desire to deliver extraordinary results every time
• Ability to build winning internal and external relationships
• Ability to plan multiple priorities and manage differing customer needs
• Relevant business degree qualification preferred
