About the Role:

As Area Sales Manager you will allocate relevant and consistent support to the National Field Sales Manager and for Key account sales activities by involving in sales budget planning, trade activities, reports, presentations or any other different commercial aspects.

Main Responsibilities:

Relationship with Distributors

•    Works with the Sales Team of the Distributors to ensure the business development;
•    Train/drive the Sales team of the Distributor according to Ferrero’s standards;

Planning & Implementing

•    Prepare sales budgets according with company strategy (by month, by channel, by customer, by brand, by category, by sku);
•    Implement promo activities;

Trade Activity / Store checks (POS)/ Market control

•    Executes frequent store checks, controls the secondary placements, shelf and checkout  space, pricing, controls the freshness of Ferrero products;
•    Checks different Ferrero Marketing activities implentations done through agencies or  through distributors;
•    Collaborates with marketing & trade marketing departments for development of the POPM’s and the trade promotions;
•    Uses retail research data to draw up analyses and to plan a growing business with Key Accounts;
•    Follows the implementation and audit of the Ferrero merchandising standards;

•    Responsible for development of the distribution (numerical / weighted) and freshness targets as agreed with the Company; 
•    Coordinate monitoring of stock and freshness in allocated clients; 
•    Monitors the competition activity focusing on pricing, placements, promotions or packaging and other strategic details;
•    Shares all information with the other departments with the purpose of analyzing the competition activity;
•    Supervise the execution of the trade activity plans of the distributors in MT channel;

Reports and Presentations

•    Prepares weekly field report, monthly reports (by channel, client, brand, sku) and other reports requested by his superior;
•    Prepares presentations when necessary;

Who we are looking for:

    Previous experience in a similar position -FMCG company for Modern Trade and /or Traditional Trade minimum 3 years;
    Good command of English language;
    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines;
    Strong communication skills;
    Team spirit and proactive behaviour;
    Microsoft Office experienced user;
    Driver's license (B category)
