About the Role:
Ferrero are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse and Logistic Manager in Halstead (Essex) who will manage the warehouse operation activities. You will supervise multiple warehouses and distribution centres, whilst ensuring the smooth running and driving of performance of warehouse and logistic activities and related processes.
Main Responsibilities:
As the Warehousing and Logistics manager you will lead and supervise a team of dedicated warehouse operators that are responsible for the receipt, storage and movement of all materials across a number of warehouse units on a busy commercial site. As well as ensuring supply of materials to production, developing storage operative methods to assure consistent raw and packaging materials, stock level.
Within the warehouse and logistic role you will oversee and monitor stock operative activities, which includes monitoring distribution criticalities managing stocks, orders and distribution cost. Analyses inventory adjustments, whilst monitoring trends or destruction of products, looking at the budgeting and variance analysis
At all times you will ensure we achieve the high quality standards as expected with Ferrero, as well as ensuring that al work centres are organised correctly, and have all equipment and materials required to do their job.
You will oversee smooth documental process management to guarantee Service Level targets and KPI's are met, address and deliver KPI improvements implementing appropriate corrective action if required.
Who we are looking for:
You will have previous working experience in the field of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) with an proven knowledge and understanding of Warehousing and Logistics Processes and best practice. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to plan, organize and effectively manage people. You will have experience using accounts system as SAP/SAGE, proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and outstanding attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
