About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Third-Party Operations (3PO) Capacity Planning Specialist. The Role supports the 3PO Capacity Planning function to:

  • Ensure the proper allocation and the related production capacities of the 3PO production portfolio full category 
  • Identify capacity improvement initiatives for the 3PO production portfolio
  • Collect the 3PO cross category set of new product projects and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are involved with the objective to manage the additional production capacity while decreasing production complexity
  • Monitor the service provided by the Third Party and identify improvement actions
  • Support the development of the 3PO Professional Family

This Role offers the opportunity to get valuable insights into our overall Operations organization and the commercial category families; the ways of working at both HQs and in the Regions/Countries and it is a solid springboard for further development within cross functional organizations.

Main Responsibilities:

The Role supports the 3PO Capacity Planning Manager in the following activities:


STRATEGY AND LONG-TERM PLANNING

  • Provides input into the process for the elaboration of the long-term industrial strategy, for the part related to the outsourced productions
  • Is engaged by 3PO / Operations Planning for feasibility analysis based on contracted specs (e.g. volumes) related to new products / new projects
  • In synergy with Operations Planning, develops the 3PO Department production structure configuration, to effectively respond to production requests from Third Parties

BUDGET AND SAF

  • Identifies the 3PO capacity / production mix and the related manpower demand per shift / configuration
  • Cooperates with Controlling and 3PO Direction Responsible in the elaboration of 3PO production budget 

PRODUCTIONS PLANNING AND PROGRAMMING

  • Analyzes volumes and technical / production capacity constraints of Third Parties 
  • Is responsible of the production allocation process according the strategy capacity guidelines
  • Ensures the programming processes and tools standardization for 3PO
  • Monitors Third Parties KPIs, providing recommendations for sourcing and allocation

Who we are looking for:

Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any Production / Supply Chain related field
  • Ideally 5 years of working experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, S&OP or Product Portfolio category management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong accountability and proactivity
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills
  • Ability to solve problems and translate solutions into effective plans

IT Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, high-level in MS Excel
  • Power BI knowledge
  • SAP environment and related transactions

    
Languages

  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • The knowledge of any other language represents a strong asset
