About the Role:
For our Ferrero Head Quarters in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Junior Brand Manager based in Luxembourg who will be working on the Region Africa Levante.
You will be in charge of providing information for the definition process of brand targets, sales mix, net sales, gross margin and marketing contribution for the assigned brands. Additionally, you will be providing information to define volumes and sales value budget as well as monitoring and controlling the outputs related to brand plans.
In order to propose the right price list for approval, you will be verifying former price lists and evaluating the right product mix that would allow budgeted objectives achievement.
You will be supporting in managing advertising, promotion, research and market analyses cost and communicating the media plan brief to the media planning responsible.
Together with the Region Marketing Manager, you will be defining the new product development (NPD) strategy for approval, leading related projects.
Collaborating with the legal department, you will be ensuring clearing of legal requirements related to commercials (property rights for audio/music, relations with actors, agencies, speakers, testimonials etc.) and deliver required information in order to set up promotions and sponsorships related contracts,
Together with the trade marketing team and the sales force, you will evaluate current projects efficiency, competitors’ behavior and operating activities performed at the points of sale. For the point of sales you will moreover be supervising the material development activities.
You will be regularly overseeing and monitoring the Profit and Loss single items and global result, in order to suggest and manage possible countermeasures. Moreover, you will be monitoring Sales / Consumer KPIs and following-up (e.g. monthly / regular analysis of market / panel data and proposal of the so what / action plan).
To evaluate the brand image, customers’ behavior, taste and preference, along with promotional activities’ outcome you will be sharing ad hoc surveys.
Who we are looking for:
- At least a Bachelor degree in a relevant field;
- 2-3 years of marketing experience within FMCG sector;
- Analytical mindset;
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English and French;
- Any other language is a plus.
