About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an intern who will report directly to the Raw Material & Semifinished Material Manager and collaborate with several central functions (such as Raw Material Procurement, Category Planning and Operations Area Planning) and local functions (such as Plants).

In this position, you will support the team of Raw Material Management Specialists in all the activities of Upstream Planning for selected critical categories, from the consolidation of consumption to the simulation analysis for the consumed raw materials at group level and key semifinished across plants and brands.

Main Responsibilities:

You will support the mid/long term consumption consolidation calculation of raw materials and discussion of trends with Procurement and support the mid/long term simulation analysis of consumption versus availability constraints.
You will help in defining the make/buy allocation process for raw materials and semifinished where we have both the options of purchasing external and manufacture/process internal.
Contributing on assessing and performing semifinished capacity analyses within the long term horizon on the existing industrial assets will be as well under your responsibility.

Moreover, one of your mission will be to support Supplier Engagement on production capacity assessments for selected strategic commodities.
You will collaborate with the Warehousing and Material Operations team for all activities related to Warehousing and Inbound for Strategic Warehouses.
Finally, you will assist with other analysis related to Raw Material Management.

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your university background in Economics or Industrial/Management Engineering.
You are demonstrating strong accountability and proactivity, problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally and effectively with senior management and company executives.
You are also showing your ability to build working relationships and networks to maximize integrated team’s business actions.


On top of this, you will bring your strong knowledge of MS Office (advanced user of Excel) and your fluency in English.
