About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Folding Board Junior Buyer who will be reporting directly to the Folding Board Category Manager within the Procurement Packaging department.

Main Responsibilities:

By covering this position, you will support in defining purchasing strategy for the referent Category, based on business needs and support the Category Manager in the negotiation of goods/services and in the definition of contracts.
For specific projects, you will be involved in the Category/financial planning. 
You mission will be also to collaborate with other functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria, legal, environmental, ethical to purchase goods/services. 

Moreover, you will help in supporting negotiations with suppliers of the Category, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct, and ensuring the competition between suppliers and subcontractors even by organizing tenders.
Applying and implementing purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility will be as well under your responsibility.
You will also help in purchase orders management.

Finally, you will be led to analyze, align and evaluate offers received, in order to select the best available alternatives and monitor operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.)

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your university background in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other related field.
Around 1-3 years of experience, you are demonstrating a previous role in a procurement department or other related experience to the packaging or raw materials categories.
Communication, reporting and negotiation skills will be essential in your daily activity. Having an analytical mindset will be also needed.
As Buyer, you are enthusiastic, fast learner and committed to excellence with a result-oriented approach.

On top of that, you will bring your knowledge in Microsoft Office (advanced skills in Excel) and your fluency in English.
