About the Role:

For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a controller who will be responsible for the for East & West Africa and Levante Region.

From this role you will report to Region Africa & Levante CFO.

As the controller of the region, you will be responsible of monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. In his role you will be the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders for financial analysis related to your competency area while supporting the Africa and Levant Region team in case of ad hoc requests and presentations’ preparations. 

You will work closely with Sales and Marketing departments daily to provide timely support to take business decisions.
 

Main Responsibilities:

In this role you will provide support to the controlling team’s manager to prepare Budget, Forecasts and perform related analysis and presentations with respect to Group guidelines.

On a weekly and monthly basis (e.g., Weekly Sales, P&L package…) you will prepare reports on P&L KPIs for actual, budget and forecast.

Moreover, you will maintain and update sales price list in SAP for billing in accordance with approved pricing structure and standard cost from Ferrero plants. Among others, your responsibility will also involve the prepare of Margin analysis by SKU, clients, and channels for each market periodically to assess respective profitability on Ferrero Business for actual, budget and forecast.

Monthly Reports and Sales Statistics will be performed and distributed in monthly variance & Gap analysis vs. budget/operating plan while you will control, review and approve vendors orders, investments, receipts, shipments and payments.

Overall, as the controller for the Region you will monitor client receivables and Cash Flow KPIs within your area of responsibility assisting and following up on special HQ, regional and local projects. 
 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your academic background and degree in Economics, Business or Finance and  2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar Financial Controlling role.

Your advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and together with your good knowledge of SAP, Hyperion and Essbase will help you achieve your role’s objectives. 

On top of this, key of your success will be your knowledge of business processes in FMCG industry and your commercial and analytical mindset.

You have strong communication skills in English, you are detail oriented while you are able to multi-task with proven track record in problem solving. 

You enjoy working in a team while you work effectively with different stakeholders across levels and departments.
