About the Role:

Kinder has the biggest portfolio of brands within the Ferrero company, including Kinder Joy, Kinder Bueno, Kinder Chocolate, Kinder Schoko Bons Crispy. Kinder Joy is a key brand for the company.  This position supports the Brand lead in leading the brand team to achieve performance targets, which are high on the management agenda.  In a cluster consisting of markets with diverse brand awareness, brand equity, market structures, competitors, and local regulatory guidelines. Markets include Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Indochina, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

New incumbent will work across functions to execute brand plans for Kinder Joy and Seasonal on-time, on-budget and in-full, to support the Brand lead to deliver on the brand vision and performance targets including Sales to Distributor, Sales to Trade, Sales to Consumer, Market Share, Penetration. 

Main Responsibilities:

•    Analyze data and recommend an action plan to drive brand growth. Factor this in the development and course-correction of brand plans across SEA and HKTW markets
•    Ongoing monthly tracking/Update of brand performance, including performance in Sales to Distributor, Sales to Trade, Sales to Consumer, Market Share, other Nielsen’s and consumer data (GAT)
•    Share brand performance on a regular basis with the Management team, Sales & Commercial team
•    Comprehensive understanding, tracking, and sharing of competitor activities across markets
•    Work closely with the Region Marketing team to share and obtain best practices, provide, and request information as needed

•    Support brand lead in developing strategy and brand objectives for the following fiscal year (or update current fiscal year) and present to the management/category team, working closely with stakeholders and agencies
•    Engagement and presentation of brand strategy and plans/results to key stakeholders

•    Lead sales launches and market launch initiatives and development of marketing plans in new markets
•    Develop pricing strategy for new markets and recommend to management team, Sales, finance

•    Develop integrated communications brief and media strategy (including social media strategy) across markets for the following year
•    Develop integrated brand communications plans across mkts, working closely with media agency
•    Monitor and support the execution of integrated brand communications plans across markets. Work closely with creative agency in the development/ adaptation of assets.  Ensure all necessary approvals and rights are fully in place, in compliance, and executed timely.  Monitor and track media plan execution
•    Develop and manage social media calendar, online content, and activations, working with social media / KOL agency

•    Manage carefully and develop timeline for the multiple RDP/packaging projects of the brand across the year Keep all stakeholders and mgmt. team regularly updated on the progress of RDP development and flag issues on time.  Including formulation changes, innovations, and seasonal SKUs as required
•    Work closely with SS Chain, Region Marketing & MPG team to track and update stakeholders on license quantity, production, stock situation, launch timelines across markets 

•    Work with Sales, Trade Mktg, POSM production and Finance to develop P&Ls, pricing, volumes and manage launch and execution in mkt
•    Develop consumer promotions by mkt, working closely with cross-functional teams
•    Develop POSM designs and manage budgets and timelines working very closely with Region Mktg, POSM & Trade Mktg teams 

•    Manage brand budgets across markets
•    Provide updates on brand financials as needed (BGT, SAF, A&P tracking) to the Marketing & finance team
•    Oversee POs, invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments 

Who we are looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
•    At least 6-9 years of relevant work experience
•    Passion for Marketing and growing Brands.  Has a strong sense of ownership of the brand, brand initiatives, and their performance.
•    Analytical and creative marketeer, able to contribute to the development of analysis and brand plans to achieve brand performance
•    Problem-solving skills, to resolve issues or risks across functions that may have different viewpoints
•    Proactive and self-directed i.e. anticipates problems and proposes solutions 
•    Agile and adaptable in multi-tasking in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
•    Good time management, essential in times of multiple requests and deadlines from various stakeholders 
•    Attention to detail and able to deliver accurate work (eg in reporting and analysis of numbers, in presentations)
•    Team player, working collaboratively across functions with different key stakeholders
•    Local business unit experience is preferred
•    Nielsen Answers knowledge is a must
•    Familiarity SAP PO systems is preferred
•    Fluency in English is a must
•    Fluency in Chinese/ Mandarin is highly preferred
