About the Role:
If you are excited to drive sales targets in your area, and you have experience in wholesale and general trade, this role is for you! As a Sales Officer focusing on wholesale in the market, the overall responsibilities includes identifying and nurturing this channel to achieve the key strategic objective of driving indirect distribution.
Major Responsibilities Areas as a Sales Officer in Wholesale
- Drive sales plan & achieve targeted number of wholesalers by visiting existing wholesalers & bringing new wholesalers
- Managing conflicts & objections from wholesale channel
- Planning & implementing sell-out activity from identified wholesalers
- Implementing visibility initiatives in wholesale channel to drive off-takes
- Achieving monthly & annual targets
- Work with other sales officers actively in your Area to drive targets
In the Sales Team, the Wholesale channel is becoming very important to drive indirect distribution in a cost-effective way. As a sales officers at Ferrero India you will aggressively drive distribution with existing & new product portfolio. In order to do so you will work in the wholesale channel to reach to targeted number of indirect retailers. You will be using your sales experience to exclusively work in wholesale markets to identify the right set of wholesalers with right product assortment. You will need to plan & execute activities to improve awareness of Ferrero brand, and plan & execute sales activities from identified wholesalers. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other sales officers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of stocks.
Who we are looking for:
a) Must Have:
Graduate with 2 to 5 years’ experience in
- FMCG/Food/Beverage industry
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated & driven by targets
- Ability to negotiate & influence
- Prior Experience as a Sales Officer with General Trade and Wholesale experience
b) Nice to Have:
- IT skills: Microsoft Office and digital agility
- Numerical/analytical skill with Sales Reports and data
