About the Role:
As the network Supply Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for setting the UK & Ireland deployment plans for Ferrero’s plants and stock balancing across the Ferrero UK network. To achieve this you will work closely with our 3PL’s and Distribution team to ensure inventory is positioned appropriately across the UK&I network, striking the right balance between maximising warehouse availability and product freshness, with consideration for network capacity constraints and cost. The role will involve extensive evaluation of data using Microsoft Excel and SAP APO and ECC.
Assumes overall responsibility for balancing of finished goods inventory levels across the Ferrero UK & Ire warehouses in order to maximise service level, at the best possible freshness.
Weekly and Monthly performance monitoring and reporting on key metrics (e.g. warehouse coverage, warehouse gate-in & gate-out freshness & plant deployment adherence)
Weekly monitoring of outstanding inbound deliveries & local stock movements (audit requirement)
Effective and timely identification and communication of priorities/issues/criticalities to all relevant stakeholders
Agreeing country level priorities, in times of availability constraints, with Customer Service team to ensure optimal deployment plans from plants
Act as the main point of contact for the Customer Services team for daily stock availability queries covering the next two weeks’ horizon
Analyses service level data and defines specific improvement plans according to the Local needs
Supporting the team with reporting and analysis as necessary
Absence, sickness and holiday cover for other members of the Supply Planning team as necessary.
Who we are looking for:
You will have supply chain experience (preferably in an FMCG environment), strong analytical skills and be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. An individual that is able to work both in teams and autonomously, open to learn and share best practices.
You will not be satisfied with the status quo, always looking to improve processes and eliminate delays. You will have the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
