About the Role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Production Materials Planner to join our planning and scheduling team based at our site in Derbyshire. In this role you will be critical in ensuring that packaging and raw materials required to make our delicious products are supplied effectively to our warehouse on site to quality standards and within specified timeframes, in order to meet production requirements. You will have an excellent eye for detail as accuracy is a must and you will be able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines, building strong working relationships both internally across various functions and externally with suppliers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced scheduler or planner who wants to broaden their supply chain experience within a successful and fast paced FMCG environment.
• Managing stock levels for packaging, raw materials and semi-finished goods
• Work closely with central material management to update plant demand
• Providing information at a local and central level on issues that could affect manufacturing schedule fulfilment
• Providing support to the local and central quality teams to assist in managing non conformities
• Providing operation support to identify materials obsolescence, in accordance to group guidelines and manage accordingly
Who we are looking for:
You will be a confident system user and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally experience with SAP. You will work effectively as part of a team and thrive in a role where you can bring a methodical approach to planning and organising inventory. Your ability to communicate will be key to your success, as will your ability to build strong and effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You will take a pro-active approach and enjoy working within a dynamic role where you will use your problem solving skills to respond to the challenges of a fast paced production environment.
