About the Role:

As Operations Project Manager, you'll be working at the core of the Global Operations, as part of the “Function Integration & PMO / PM Pool”, based in our worldwide Headquarters located in Luxembourg. You will be working on some of the key transformational cross-functional projects within the Operations scope, with several challenges of high interest. This role can offer a fantastic opportunity along your individual career development path, to gain knowledge of strategic topics, having high visibility and exposure to various stakeholders while building the necessary networks within the Group organization.

Project Management

For the projects assigned, you will responsible to coordinate all the streams in order to meet the project objectives in terms of: 

  • Delivery (costs & benefits through a business case when applicable)
  • Time, Scope, Quality of the initiative
  • Cost (e.g. consultancy) and/or capex (when investments are required)

As PM, you contribute to the journey of improvement of Project Management capabilities and culture within Operations. In this context, you will be responsible to manage the initiatives assigned to you across all the project phases:

  • Initiation – Definition of the project at broad level to bring the initiative till its approval
  • Baseline – Definition of the project at detailed level to bring the initiative till the formal kick-off 
  • Execution and Control – to coordinate all the critical tasks required for the execution of the initiative, including but not necessarily limited to:
  • Involvement of teams
  • Activation/execution of foreseen activities
  • Monitoring/ reporting of activities status to Leadership Steering/ Operative Committees
  • Analysis of risks and issues
  • Management of changes in project assumptions
  • Formal acceptance of deliverables
  • Closing – to handover of outputs / deliverables to internal clients for the formal acceptance of the project and collect feedbacks on the project to feed the lessons learned document

Change Management

Most of the initiatives led by “Function Integration & PMO / PM Pool” have an important component of change management (e.g. organizational / process evolutions are often part of the project scope). In this context, you will be acting as a Change Agent to facilitate the change leveraging on you soft skills and emotional intelligence to:

  • Understand the change
  • Measure and analyze the impact of the change on the business
  • Transfer ownership of the change to the right Sponsor
  • Work out the sources of resistance within the target population
  • Lead the change
  • Map the key roles and assess their understanding of and attitude to the change
  • Develop and implement the communication, learning and reinforcement plans
  • Take account of other changes affecting the target population in the project plan
  • Deal with people
  • Continuously listen
  • Communicate, coach, counsel, be patient
  • Identify / mitigate the risks and solve issues

Who we are looking for:

Education and Background
•    Master's degree in Engineering or any Production / Supply Chain related field
•    At least 5-7 years of professional experience within Ferrero or other companies in the FMCG or previous experience in consulting 
•    Any previous experience as Project Manager and / or PM certification (e.g. PMP) is considered as a plus

Knowledge
•    Good knowledge and understanding of Industrial and / or Supply Chain scopes
•    Strong knowledge of the MS Office package (mainly Excel & Powerpoint)
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language is considered a plus

Competences
•    Strong communication skills, able to “frame the big picture” (effective summary of complex topics) but as well capable and determined to “make things happen” (pragmatic and hands-on)
•    Very attentive to details (they really make the difference)
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to deal with Senior Management and expert business referents
•    Analytical mindset
•    Proactive attitude, high level of autonomy in driving deliverables to execution
•    High standing with influencing skills and authority level
