About the Role:
For our Market Information Service department of the Region Africa Levante based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Market Data Analyst to lead the analysis based on internal and external data sources for the assigned markets.
You will be managing several resources based in different countries of the region Africa Levante. Your resources, working as Market Auditors, are visiting on a daily basis different point of sales collecting information on our products. You will be ensuring the timely delivery and correctness of the data provided from the local Auditors in the field. Additionally, you will be providing guidelines and managerial support to the Auditors.
Moreover, you will be analyzing and monitoring the numerical distribution, freshness, visibility, price, placement, and average stock of our products. On top of this you will be performing benchmark and gap analysis vs. competitors and goals. For the point of sales activities in the local markets you will be leading the collection of information and analysis ensuring ongoing support to the marketing and sales departments.
In the region meetings, you will be presenting the results of your analysis.
On special assigned projects you will be following up daily, analyzing and presenting your results.
Who we are looking for:
- BSc. in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or related;
- 3+ years of experience as Data Analyst, Consultant, Trade Marketing Specialist, Commercial Analyst, Sales Analyst and/or related;
- Experience in FMCG is a plus;
- Detail oriented and reliable;
- Numerical and analytical mindset;
- Ability to work in a team.
- Advanced skills on Excel;
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus;
- Good knowledge of other MS office tools.
- English is mandatory;
- Arabic or French would be a plus.
