About the Role:

The role is responsible for effective planning and coordination of Lab activities to guarantee the service level for internal clients, in terms of quality, efficiency and result.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform sample and analyse raw materials, in process samples, finished product and any other samples required in accordance with Ferrero procedures and systems

  • Follow the instructions, procedures and systems in place, to ensure compliance in line with ISO & Ferrero standards

  • Maintain the level of quality throughout the factory, supporting the teams in quality queries

  • Calibrate quality equipment as listed or preparing service requisitions for the equipment

  • Ensure the laboratory is stocked with reagents for analysis, and advise on replenishment

  • Record all results on work sheets and via data entry into electronic data base, producing routine and ad hoc reports

  • Maintain relevant documentation, create purchase and service requisitions

  • Ensure raw materials / packaging / processes / intermediate product and finished product in their department is maintained in a “food safe” way

  • Report and resolve any quality issues, identifying the route cause

  • Complete goods receival / service completion

  • Provide job training to the relevant teams

  • Participate in cleaning programs, quality audits, OHS audits and other approved events

  • Take part in the meetings and development activities, such as committees, external courses, etc.

Who we are looking for:

  • University Degree in Quality, Food Science and related fields

  • 5+ years of related professional experience in FMCG, experience in sweet packaged food is considered of a strong plus

  • Strong microbiological knowledge, and exerience with production quality and control process, ISO standards

  • Knowledge of maintenance techniques, AQS analysis

  • Competency in managing work independently, as well as effectively collaborating across functions

  • Good project management, organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, good communication skills

  • MS Office skills, SAP knowlegde
