About the Role:

For our Ferrero Headquarters, we are looking for an HR Data Scientist who will become part of our HR Information Systems (HRIS) team in Luxembourg. 

In this role you will report to the HR Data Science lead.  

Your main objective in this role will be to become an expert user of key elements of the tech stack that HR Data Science department is currently in the process of building, with emphasis on the Data Science platform Databricks and on the visualization software PowerBI. In relation, you will be actively involved in different projects leveraging on HR data to create descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models.  

In this role you will interact and closely collaborate with different teams and departments of the Group, such as local HR teams, IT, Finance, and Legal departments and external suppliers (data analyst, data scientist and data engineering teams). 

Main Responsibilities:

As the HR Data Scientist, you will analyze large, complex datasets related to HR processes, employee lifecycle data set (i.e. Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Reward, Separation, …), engagement and collaboration Organization data. 

You will develop predictive models to identify trends and patterns, forecast outcomes, contributing thus to HR decisions. 

Thanks to this opportunity, you will also support the design and implementation of experiments to test the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. 

Moreover, you will create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders. In relation, you will collaborate with HR business partners, Group HRIS Data Analysts, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in HR processes and programs.  

As the HR Data Scientist, you will stay up to date on the latest developments in data science, HR analytics, and technology. You will leverage this knowledge thanks to the continuous alignment with Ferrero IT Strategy and Data Science community with the aim to drive innovation and continuous improvement for the Group’s HR.  You will work closely with IT and across the data science network as well as other business stakeholders to ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of HR data and analytics. 

Last but not least, you will support in trainings’ preparation and execution for the HR population in line with the data awareness campaign.      

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics Data Science, Information Technology or any other related field and 5-7 years of experience of applied work in Advanced Analytics, Statistics or Modelling within the HR area of multinational business environments. 

Your experience in big data environments and in AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processes (NLP),as well as, in development and deployment of custom algorithms will significantly contribute to covering this role successfully. 

You are familiar with digital employee experience within the employee lifecycle framework and have work experience in SAP HR, SAP SuccessFactors, and other tools (i.e. Databricks, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hanaconda, Scala). More specifically, you have worked with advanced statistical methods for people analytics including linear/multiple/logistic regression analysis, structural equation modeling while you are an expert in using programming and analytical languages including SQL, Python, R and PowerBI.  

You are a strong professional who is business acumen known for your strong and clear communication skills in English, who works with creativity and attention to detail. You can work independently while you are comfortable working with different people across functions, job areas and levels translating findings to business users without statistical background. 

Last but not least, you are proactive, results oriented with curiosity to learn new things while you are able to balance and execute many initiatives and projects in parallel
