About the Role:
Qualified Electrician for a Production / Manufacturing environment in Cork City
Main Responsibilities:
Machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving
Performs repairs on buildings and equipment
Performs preventive maintenance procedures
Troubleshooting on electrical tasks as required
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Assist in the commissioning of projects as required
Maintains records of scheduled maintenance and recording the data
Assist the team with identifying areas for continuous improvement
Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
Who we are looking for:
3-5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
Experience of working in a Production / Manufacturing environment
Thorough understanding of responsibilities as per Safety, Health and Welfare regulations
Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Flexibility
