About the Role:
As the Assistant Brand Manager Kinder Surprise, you will have the unique opportunity of working on one of our most iconic brands with the perfect mix between toys and chocolate.
The Kinder story starts 1968 in the heart of the small town of Alba, Italy. Making chocolate is just one part of our story. Throughout our history we have always placed family, quality, and innovation at the heart of what we do. Knowing that children love chocolate, playing games and discovering new things, Kinder took inspiration from the Easter tradition of egg hunts to create a groundbreaking product: Kinder Surprise.
Kinder Surprise contains the taste of Kinder chocolate, with a surprise and toy in every single egg. The combination of these three elements creates a world of fun and entertainment that helps children to develop their imagination while reassuring parents at the same time.
As the Assistant Brand Manager Kinder Surprise, you will be involved in ad-hoc projects and key activities (e.g., communication and media) and supporting the team with report preparation. You will also be involved in business follow up and promotions execution, with a relevant involvement also in portfolio execution activities.
You will be actively involved in tracking and monitoring brand performance within Nielsen and Kantar, while supporting the BM with developing brand presentations for commercial sell-ins. Delivering engaging media plans using various channels such as TV, digital and social media.
You will adapt global marketing materials and ensure they are suitable for use in the UK. Manage and develop online content and branding for the Kinder team. As well as, leading the packaging and artwork process for Kinder Surprise products authorisation from external licensors and tracking packaging destruction while tracking expenditure and toy management.
All while managing the budgets, reporting and toy management, also supporting the broader team with ad-hoc requests on brand performance.
Who we are looking for:
You will have marketing experience and familiarity with Nielsen/Kantar, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will be able to articulate the brand strategically, strong project management & prioritization skills, with great analytical abilities (Microsoft Excel).
You would have a special connection and passion for the brand, with a keen eye for emerging trends. Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading, and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals.
