About the Role:

Nutella is one of the most iconic and loved brands in the Ferrero portfolio and is synonymous with chocolate spreads around the world. With Nutella being a growth driver for the category as well as our portfolio, the Senior Brand Manager role is an opportunity to plan, execute and assess Nutella brands marketing initiatives across the various markets of South-East Asia (SEA) and Hong Kong & Taiwan (HKTW)

The role focuses on planning and executing 360 marketing plans (ATL & BTL), assess brand performance, portfolio review, packaging artwork development and budget management across 8 markets: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, with the facilitation of the Cluster Brand Head. In addition, it includes interactions with cross functional teams including Sales, Media, Consumer Insights, Artwork Planner, Legal, Trade Marketing, Finance, Research and Supply Chain to collaborate and develop winning plans and execution for the brands in-market.

Expectation for the role: The candidate should be highly analytical and be numerically capable to properly assess brand performance monthly, with the help of sales and consumer insight team. The candidate is expected to be a team player, a project lead with passion and drive to plan and execute campaigns in a timely manner. Have a high sense of responsibility, proactiveness and be solutions oriented.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Effectively develop, manage, and execute 360-degree brand campaigns, new product SKUs and market launches in a timely manner across markets
•    Lead all related internal stakeholders & external agency conversations, from planning, briefing to assessment and timely executions 
•    Support brand leader in developing brand objectives, planning and targets, which may range from 1 year (PS1) to 3 years (PS3) and present to the mgmt/category team during annual PS sessions
•    Work closely with other brands/markets and Region Marketing team to share and obtain best practices, provide, and request information as needed

•    Develop integrated brand communications brief, plans and media strategy (including social media strategy) monitor & support execution across markets, working closely with media agency
•    Develop and manage social media calendar, online content and activations, working with social media agency. 
•    Coordinate inputs for new TV/Digital communication development and adaptation for local markets

•    Track and analyse Sell-in and Sell-out performance monthly (Internal reports, Nielsen)
•    Present brand performance, competitors understanding and plans across markets to internal stakeholders
•    Lead discussions with Research team to track brand health and scout for new opportunities
•    Monitor & manage brand budgets, brand P&L, provide updates on brand financials as needed across markets 
•    Oversee budget phasing while managing POs, invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments

•    Lead portfolio discussions with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful launches 
•    Develop consumer promotions by mkt, working closely with cross-functional teams on evaluating the success of the specific promotions / activations undertaken
•    Lead POSM discussions with Trade Marketing, ensuring brand guidelines and channel priorities are respected and executed

•    Approve or coordinate any required Artwork inputs when new packaging / visuals are introduced
•    Work closely with Product Registration team, PFM and Legal team to manage timely renewal / registration and product packaging projects across the year 
•    Keep all stakeholders regularly updated on the progress of RDP development and flag issues on time
•    Work closely with Supply Chain team to track and update stakeholders on the production, stock situation, launch timelines across markets

•    Motivates, coaches and develops 1 direct report
•    Work collaboratively across cross functional teams to drive the agenda of the brands

Who we are looking for:

•    University graduate
•    Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience 
•    Strong analytical ability and reasoning
•    Strong marketing fundamentals
•    Good time & project management skills
•    Experience working in Marketing / Trade Marketing functions
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Comfort with ambiguity and taking responsibility in a pro-active manner
•    Familiarity with Nielsen Answers and SAP
•    Fluency in English, other local languages a plus
•    Regional (SEA) experience in FMCG environment preferred
•    Agile and capable of adapting / multi-tasking in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
•    High sense of responsibility and pro-activity i.e. anticipates problems and proposes solutions (entrepreneurial and commercial mindset)
