About the Role:
The challenges of the last couple of years have put a spotlight on the vital role of internal communication. The need to communicate quickly and efficiently with employees has become a pressing matter.
The need for information is more important than ever, and the digital workplace is becoming increasingly sophisticated.
We know that effective internal communication is the answer to driving change in the workplace and ensuring strong employee engagement.
As part of a growing team in the Gulf & Arab Countries Region, we are currently looking for an internal communication (IC) specialist to join us.
The IC Specialist will support in providing clear and speedy business information, tools, communications support & advice to the local team.
The role reports to the GAC Region IC Manager as part of the human resources department.
The Internal Communication specialist will help in implementing at local level the global internal communication plans. This includes regional coverage across the different ferrero offices in Gulf & Arab Countries.
In collaboration with the IC Manager, you will be involved in different projects from across the business to identify and respond to changes that impact the business and create communication plans for colleagues.
As part of the role, you will be working on sourcing and writing content for internal channels including emails, company intranet & Yammer to ensure messages are delivered to relevant audience in a compelling, accurate and timely way.
You will support in coordinating content and delivery of key company events including Town Hall meetings and Company Conference (both online and face-to-face).
The internal communication specialist will help in facilitating global employee engagement survey to region audience and action planning activity.
You will be a champion for employee engagement, developing initiatives and programs to make Ferrero a great place to work.
Who we are looking for:
- You have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in internal communication / content development and employees’ engagement
- Your educational background is in communication or a related field. You have proven ability to execute communications plan and you have strong writing skills
- As we deliver to our diverse teams in both English and Arabic languages, we are looking for a Native Arabic speaker for this role. You need to be fluent in written and spoken English language.
- Strong influencing skills
- Proactive and dynamic attitude
- Business understanding and curiosity
- Tech-savvy and digital mindset (knowledge of SharePoint and SuccessFactors an advantage)
- Excellent/Advanced presentation & communications skills
