About the Role:

As the Commercial Planning Executive at Ferrero, you will provide key data and analytics to internal stakeholders to ensure that we remain on track to deliver our annual business goals relating to volume, trade spend and net sales. You will be responsible for checking and maintaining data quality, managing convergence of data through master data enrichment and publishing on a regular basis. You will have a strong understanding of the business and be able to identify risks and opportunities to improve the P&L.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into the exciting world of FMCG and develop your skills in analysis to provide meaningful insight and contribute to business decisions using commercial data. 

Main Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will pertain to three main areas:

  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Promotion Validation and Compliance
  • Process Management

You will need to provide key reports for the Sales team outlining vital data and providing insights and recommendations. This will include reporting on volume, value, trade spend, past performance, forecasts, promotion results and new product launches. You will develop dashboards relating to brand and customer performance and manager any data issues or master data maintenance. 

Promotion validation and compliance responsibilities include ensuring alignment of promotions between Ferrero and our customers via monthly promotional reviews and escalating any identifying issues where necessary. 

You will manage key Ferrero processes such as data collection, maintaining master data and creating data and documents to support key processes for reviews. An example is providing our Sales Director with a clear and accurate understanding of current and future month sales commitments.

Your strengths will be your strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve to get results and manage multiple demands in a timely manner. You will need excellent communication skills to translate data into ideas and insights to be understood by a variety of stakeholders at all levels. 

Having keen attention to detail and ability to recognize data issues will be essential to providing accurate reports for the business. This role would suit someone who is early in their career and wanting to gain experience and grow in the FMCG industry.
