About the Role:

To assist Head of Trade Marketing to translate Brand strategy into Trade Marketing strategy that applicable in local level by having an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, leveraging on customers strategies and shoppers understanding; act as a key coordinator on operation level in-between Regional Marketing, Local Sales and Supply Chain on Demand Planning; provide adequate ideas / solutions according to scenarios, category, channel, and sales focus to meet assigned objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Develop annual touchpoint and promotion plan according to brand strategies (aligning with brand team) and channel strategies (aligning with key account managers).
•    Play a key role in touchpoints and promotion activities development and modification with the good understanding of both trade and consumer trend.
•    Proactively provide new initiatives to enrich brand excitement with local relevancy.
•    Identify synergies with cluster in terms of strategies and resource planning.

•    Fully in-charge of all in-store activities coordinating with KA managers, merchandising team and agencies by communicating the objectives and instructions, as well as providing all needed materials.
•    Manage external agency for promoter and premium planning, handling and result monitoring.
•    Collect and analyse market data from POS, Nielsen and Merchandising Team to monitor the achievement of targets and recommend actions for improvement.
•    Evaluate promotion effectiveness of the campaigns base on the concept of ROI and share results with sales and marketing.
•    Collect and analyse market intelligence to identify opportunities and provide recommendations.
•    Propose distribution and visibility targets for key SKUs by channel.
•    Ensure timely and accurate touchpoints and distribution summary for reporting purposes.

•    Fully in-charge of assigned annual budget to achieve pre-set KPIs with an effective and efficiency plan
•    Provide flexibility on budget management according to business fluctuation. 
•    Provide clear and up-to-date spending record through the PO system fully reflecting GRC requirements.

•    Define appropriate POS materials by format, channel, both for occasions and regular basis.
•    Propose optimal estimation on quantity of POS materials with requirement on quality and structure base on input and input and feedback from customer and merchandising team.

•    Develop Sales Force support tools like sales folder, product catalogue, presentation for major campaigns, category & commercial arguments, sales presentation base on success stories, etc.
•    Provide specific dedicated trainings to field sales and merchandising teams for perfect in-store execution.

•    Build and maintain a structured coordination of information flows between Sales, Marketing and Merchandising teams.

Who we are looking for:

•    Minimum 7 – 10 years of relevant work experience is required
•    Understanding of Trade Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and Category Management processes and practices preferably in FMCG sector of HK&TW
•    Strong cross-geographic planning and team communication skill
•    Good retail market and channel knowledge for HK&TW
•    Strong interpersonal and cross-functional projects management skills
•    Proficient in MS Office
•    Regular travel is required
