About the Role :

Act as pivot role for the implementation of Delacre strategy in the Region, being the point of reference for FBC Marketing and Sales Teams and supervising Region coordination marketing team. From the guidelines received from FBC, develops and proposes the strategy definition incl. portfolio planning / budgeting process and global activity plan.Supervises and perform Brand management local implementation (e.g. advertising, promotion, Brand Public relation, campaigns) to achieve the agreed targets within budget constraints.

Main responsibilities :

Marketing strategic planning :

  • Analyses and builds a Region specific expertise on the long term brand performances, competitors, trends and consumer understanding...
  • Provides targeted and Region specifice input to the definition of the strategy included portfolio strategy, definition of research needs
  • Supports, providing inputs to the strategic plan (PS) and budget to achieve optimal setting of Region specific targets with respect to volumes, P&L, investments and the global activity plan 
  • Be part of Biscuit business team

Portfolio Management :

  • Suggests / evaluates existing and new SKU's relevance within the set Region marketing strategy and competition 
  • Provides local perspective in process of defining appropriate list prices / price increases
  • Coordinates the local input to the process of creating new / changing existing SKUs, i.e, artworks and documentation management (RDP processes)
  • Coordinates the local process of externalized customization of consumer and trade units (if needed)
  • Recommend one degree innovation initiatives in the Region based on local market opportunities through direct market expertise (Brand Flavor, Brands format modification, Seasonal Occasions, TU modification)

Business Follow up :

  • Sales / consumer KPI monitoring and follow-up (market / panel data) and proposal of the so what / action plan 
  • Contributes to S&OP process by providing the detail of activity grids (e.g. campaigns) to tune sales forecast, assessing, understanding and analyzing th P&L and the effect driving it to ensure overall budget constraints 
  • Drives the gap analysis versus budget targets under year and suggests corrective measures and / or budget reviews 

Research :

  • Proposal, implememtation (e.g. brief) and follow up of operational improvement projects for Region, e.g. studies which deal with operational issues such as pre and post test, performance of new packaging, market data monitoring, commercial quality, assortment , pricing

Communication and media : 

  • Provides input to communication, advertising and media strategies, incl. identification of targe audiences and participation in definition of media mix to maximize impact of advertising campaigns, lead Media brief to media teams 
  • Guarantees the communication development follow-up, from a TVC designed and developped by FBC (eg. TV Tag, final packshot). 
  • Designs, approves and implements Region market brand Public Relations and campaigns 

Promotions :

  • Definition of the promotion strategy and promotion planning 
  • local promotion development (e.g. agency briefing, developments, concept evaluation and corrections, etc)
  • Oversees 

Who we are looking for :

At least 10 years of solid Brand Management and / or Category experience in FMCG 

  • excellent strategic thinking and data analytical skills 
  • Financial acumen, able to interpret P&L and drive business performance 
  • Proven project management skills, able to drive cross-functional teams
  • Master in Communication techniques : impact on public speaking and on interpersonal skills 
  • Flexible, resilient, with a ragmatic approach to problem solving 
  • Able to work transversally with the different departments and Third-Party 
  • Strong influencing and negotiation Skills 
  • Proactivity, dynamism, curiosity 
  • Team management experience 
  • English level fluent
