About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn and develop a career within a global food manufacturing organisation with ambitious plans for future growth.
Based within the laboratory team at our Alfreton production site you will be conducting analysis on the various components within the manufacturing processes of our delicious chocolates and confectionary products.
With a focus on packaging materials, you will also carry out microbiological, chemical, physical and taste analysis of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods to ensure the technological quality and integrity of Ferrero products.
You’ll work collaboratively with the operational teams and colleagues across the quality function to ensure that all sampling, testing and analysis is conducted in a timely manner, minimising impact to the wider production operation.
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone with a scientific background, ideally degree qualified with some experience working within a laboratory. You will be willing to learn and develop your existing skill base to ensure you gain a rounded knowledge of the business and additional experience across the various lab team roles.
You will be detail orientated, working with a high level of accuracy and quality at all times. You will have great communication skills and have an ability and desire to build strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders. You will enjoy making a difference and will embrace change and improving ways of working.
