About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for an Area Europe Operating Planning intern, who will become part of our Area Operating Planning Europe team based in Luxembourg. Thanks to this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will be supporting in the monitoring and oversighting the interaction with the Plant Operating planning team preserving the accountability at local level on the basis of the operating planning horizon.
In this role, you will report to AOP Specialist of Europe and will cooperate and collaborate with the other key Operations stakeholders in the team such as Plant Operating Planning teams as well as Category Planning Teams but also Region Supply Chain Teams.
AREA OPERATING PLANNING MANAGEMENT
You will support the Area Operating Planning Specialist in the coordination of actions between different plants across the Area and support the Area plants in the VRAC, FRIGO/Frozen management, to guarantee visibility and communication with the Local Supply chains, preserving the accountability at local level.
Morever, you will be able to provide visibility to the Local Supply chains about plants closures, maintenance breakage and production lines shutdowns.
PRODUCTION CAPACITY REVIEW AND S&OP
You will overview the Production Capacity Review in order to guarantee the Group standards’ application.
ANALYSIS & KPIs MONITORING
You will provide analyses on the Area’s plants’ performance according to the identified KPIs with regards to the production planning for the operative horizon – such as case fill rate, orders cut, demand variability and accuracy (SFA, bias), destructions, intermediate products stock coverage and production planning achievement.
On top of that, you will support AOP Europe teams in Business Analysis ad Reporting on a daily basis to measure planning parameters, support in the decision making and analyze performances.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field;
- Curiosity for the local supply chain and plants’ environment;
- Proactive attitude;
- Strong communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Analytical mindset.
- Strong knowledge of the MS Office Package, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
