About the Role:

The role is aimed to identify, understand, and evaluate key nutritional trends that may be relevant to Ferrero’s mid- to long-term product innovation roadmap.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on nutritional trends in Sweet Packaged Foods for the Asian markets (India and China in priority)
  • Map and discover established and emerging food trends and how they are impacted by trend drivers
  • Continuously monitor priority nutritional trends to short-term shifts and long-term evolution trajectories, that underpin future opportunities for Ferrero
  • Manage spots and gaps between identified trends and Ferrero innovation roadmap
  • Work in strong collaboration with internal stakeholders in legal, R&D and strategic development teams to ensure different functional touchpoints are aligned
  • Provide food trends with a focus on nutritional trends and contribute actively to cross-functional activities and projects at the Innovation Center and broader strategy and innovation teams
  • Develop and actively engage with a high-quality network of external experts in Asian food trends to validate and enrich Ferrero’s understanding of trend evolutions
  • Handle the monitoring of food trend KOLs and collaboration with external food trend research agencies

Who we are looking for:

  • Master's Degree+ in Nutrition, Food Science, or related fields
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in FMCG MNC
  • Knowledge of F&B categories in the Asian market (product positioning, claims)
  • Awareness of food and regulatory landscape for the Asian region
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skillset to enable development of insight and foresight about future trend trajectory
  • Proven ability to translate trend insights into concrete innovation opportunities
  • Communication and collaboration skills with ability manage multiple stakeholders and synthesize their inputs
  • Experience in managing multitasking projects and dealing with different teams (commercial, marketing, R&D, and regulatory) across different time zones
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Proactivity and open-mindness
  • Fluency in English, working proficiency in Chinese is preferrable
