About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Financial Risk Management Analyst, who will be part of the Corporate Finance department, hierarchically reporting to the Capital Markets and Risk Management Manager. 

Main Responsibilities:

Within the central Corporate Finance team, your main activities will be related to derivatives valuation, controlling, reporting, compliance and risk management support. 

To go in more depth on your future responsibilities, you can find below a detailed description of the main tasks: 

Derivatives Valuation, Controlling and Reporting

  • Check and insertion into the system of all derivatives transactions on FX, Interest rates, and commodities;
  • Monitor and control of the other group entities acting in hedging and derivatives (extra and intercompany);
  • Check realised and unrealised derivatives under IFRS and LUX GAAP of hedging transactions;
  • Reporting valuations and analysis.

FX Risk Detection

  • Receipt of net extra-group FX forecasted flows from cash flow planning and standard rates from reporting; 
  • Support in the identification and structuring of hedging strategies;
  • Support of the management of the outstanding positions vis-a-vis market conditions and treasury flows;
  • Check of actual treasury flows vs forecast.

OTC Derivatives Commodities

  • Direct support to the procurement department in the identification and structuring of hedging strategies;
  • Execution with financial counterparties;
  • Post-trade support in the management of the outstanding position.

Derivatives Compliance

  • ISDA Master Agreement analysis and control in accordance with the best practice and the company standard framework in collaboration with Group legal department;
  • Manage compliance in accordance with the EMIR regulation and CSSF directives;
  • Negotiation of the main clauses of the contract with the counterparties involved;
  • Archive of agreement and the documents related.

Who we are looking for:

You are our ideal candidate if you are aligned with the following characteristics:

  • Degree in Finance or related topics;
  • Around 2 years of experience in Finance department;
  • Knowledge about Financial Markets, options derivatives; 
  • Preferable background in  Corporate Finance or other roles related to the analysis of financial data, support in preparing finance reports, interaction with different stakeholders within the organization;
  • Capability to work with significant amount of data;
  • Strong time management and ability to properly prioritize tasks;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work in changing multicultural environment and adopt quickly to changing priorities.

IT Skills

  • Strong computing skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • SAP knowledge will be considered a plus;
  • Bloomberg knowledge is a nice to have.


  • Fluent in English;
  • Any additional language is a plus.
