About the Role:
The purpose of the Category Development Executive is to support the Category team in creating and delivering compelling selling propositions to drive everyday availability of the brands in the portfolio of the Product Business Unit. They are the expert on the company’s retailer specific shopper insight – creating, maintaining and publishing reports to provide the Sales team with actionable understanding of current situation. Indeed, they work under the Category Manager. Also, their responsibilities are primarily collecting data and analysing the category. Specifically, they identify opportunities and report to the Category Manager, who then takes appropriate steps.
The Category Development Executive has 100% responsibility for the provision of Sales led market data and transformation of that data into compelling arguments to grown the category and brands within it. The Category Development Executive is also 100% responsible for the cataloguing of all target in store Plannograms applying sales data to space in store to create rationales for fair space share across the range of products in the Product Business Unit. This role would suit candidates with similar previous experience and want to work for Ferrero to grow their knoweldge and skills base and build their career
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone that has a passion for numbers and data. Candidates that relish forecasting and looking at trends. You will have previous experience in a customer-facing role within category management or customer marketing or within agency in a client executive/account management position. You will possess strong analytical and numerical skills with an understanding of data sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, or Dunnhumby. You will possess a strong drive to develop your career and understand how to manage and maximise your internal network.
