About the Role:
For our Ferrero Head Quarters in Luxembourg we are currently looking for an Area Modern & Traditional Trade Development Specialist for our Sales Business Development department.
Channel & Customer Development at Group Level
Together with your team and the local Business Units you will be developing and driving the International Customers of the Group supporting the local sales teams in the execution of their annual plans.
Moreover, you will be in charge of anticipating future growth drivers for the assigned customers laying out the business priorities by country/category/store format, specific actions to meet sales targets as well as opportunities in and best practices.
You will be monitoring International customers results on a regular basis as per the defined KPIs and strategic framework. On top of the monitoring, you will be responsible for turning the Channel & Customer insights and data into actions and points of attention for the local teams. Analyzing the data, you will identify the major gaps in the customer strategies and plans in each country, assessing root causes and possible solutions. Additionally, you will provide input for local development activities and monitor alignment with country strategies of customer/brand initiatives. You will as well provide recommendations to the local team as well on ad-hoc requests (e.g. negotiation, pricing, portfolio, etc.).
With the collected information from the different markets, you will be supporting the local Sales and Trade Marketing teams in the deployment of their commercial activities/plans.
In order to have a better knowledge of the local marketplace, you will maintain a high level of engagement with the local Ferrero teams in the countries. Moreover, for the meetings with key internal stakeholders, you will be supporting in the preparation.
On the assigned geographies, you will be collecting information, analyzing data and making recommendations and proactively support the team in the execution phase, working closely with the country teams.
Who we are looking for:
You have ideally a MSc in Management, Economics, Engineering or related as well as 3-6 years of experience in Trade Marketing and/or Key Account Management, either in FMCG, Consulting for FMCG or on the Customer side of FMCG. You will be working on the global level with a high visibility towards the management of the group. Advanced negotiation skills, as well as high flexibility and result orientation would be desired, as l as strong data analysis skills and the ability to interact with the top level management.
For this role, English is the working language, in which you should be fluent, any other language would be a plus.
In this role you will be mainly working with the MS Office package, especially PowerPoint and Excel will be used daily. If you know VBA, this will be a plus.
