About the Role:
We currently have a vacancy for motivated and ambitious Account Executive to join our Sales team.
This is your entry into sales and account management. You will gain exposure to working with major retailers like Coles and Woolworths to manage their business day to day with Ferrero. Reporting into the National Account Manager for either Woolworths or Coles, you will work predominantly across your assigned account, but will have the opportunity to support other accounts throughout the business. This is an excellent opportunity to stretch and grow within a best practice environment and start your career.
This role is a contract position, initially for 12 months with a high likelihood that it will be extended to a full-time permanent role.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting your accounts across their day-to-day business operations with Ferrero.
This will include supporting National Account Manager and Customer Director with Woolworths and Coles accounts, forecasting, analysing data, providing administrative support, and processing claims. You will also pressure test promotional volumes, attend customer meetings, and be involved in preparing and presenting analytical reports on key initiatives.
You will be supported by an experienced team and will be able to learn about the FMCG industry, Australia’s major retailers, and Ferrero’s best practice.
This role will help you develop your fundamental account management skills and kick start your career in Sales and Account Management and could lead to a range of progression pathways in an international FMCG company.
Who we are looking for:
You will have experience in the FMCG industry in a field/account sales or office based role and are keen to develop your skill set in Account Management. You will be a confident presenter, with solid financial acumen and attention to detail for analysing sales data and providing insight on trends.
The Account Executive role can be fast paced in key seasons, so you will need to be able to cope with pressure, be proactive, flexible, and think outside the box.
