About the role:

The position oversees for Balvano and S.Angelo plants the application on production lines of GMP, based on guidelines defined by Group Quality and other external organizations. Defines sanitation, GMP, HACCP aimed at ensuring adequate hygiene conditions within the working environment. Organizes and supervises internal and external monitoring, in order to ensure the correct application of the related working instructions. It manages the FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 certification standards (and any other standards that the group decides to implement), maintaining relations with certification figuresThe position ensures the correct execution of microbiological, chemical, physical and tasting analyzes for raw materials, analysis of packaging materials, semi-finished products and finished products, in order to guarantee the technological, organoleptic quality and marketability of Ferrero products

Activities and main Responsabilities:

  • Ensures the preparation and maintenance of all quality certifications: standard Group certifications (related to ISO 9000, ISO9001 and FSSC22000 audits), certifications required by customers (IFS, McDonald, Costco, ethics-religion, etc.) or local authorities
  • Guarantees the planning and execution of internal audits and guarantees the planning and management of the follow-up of internal audits related to both the Quality of the Group and the plant (Plant and related warehouses)
  • Monitors process indicators and ensure central collection of data related to quality, certification, and management system issues. Monitors KPIs and reports on the progress of action plans to the Plant Manager and THEQM, as well as to the Central Directorates
  • Keeps the documentation of the 9001 / FSSC 22000 system up to date (manuals and procedures) and collaborates with UGPs in the drafting and verification of cleaning plans
  • Oversees pest control activities performed by outside firms, processes and updates HACCP plans through the risk analysis method: validation, monitoring and verification processes. Develop and updates with the food safety team the plans of Food Defence, Food fraud and Risk Analysis of glass and hard plastics
  • Coordinate the food safety team
  • Provides training courses to line staff on quality system, food hygiene and HACCP
  • Verify traceability traceability systems within the plant through appropriate testing in accordance with group directives and in coordination with other company functions

Who we are looking for:

  • Master's degree in chemical engineering or food technologist ;
  • Fluent English;
  • Availability to international mobility;
  • At least one year of work experience in quality function in considered a plus
