The Ferrero Group Quality Department’s missions encompass the definition of quality standards, the constant monitoring of the products’ quality from end to end, and the reporting of Quality performances to the top management board.
We are currently looking for an experienced candidate in Quality Surprises as New Process Surprises Quality.
The aim of the position is to ensure that manufacturing methods, processes, and controls are adequate to ensure ongoing manufacturing of new toy designs and remain compliant to all applicable global and Group internal requirements.
In addition, the person will be the “Trait d’union” between Surprises Technical Design & Innovation and Quality Operations Surprises Poles in order to support innovation processes and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.
About the job
The candidate will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, with the following responsibilities:
GUIDELINES AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Verifies that final Surprises Technical Data Sheets meet all applicable global and Group internal requirements and that pilot molded samples adhere to design and Risk Assessment requirements.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS DESIGN AND CONTROL
Supports Design and Industrialization teams in the development of new manufacturing processes focused on Quality and preventing defects to internal and regulatory product requirements, performs process failure mode and effects analysis, and develops mitigation actions and or product design modifications if required. Develops and oversees proper execution of all customized Quality control plans, ensuring consistency among different Poles.
NEW AND SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
Supports Sustainable Materials projects, Innovation, and Industrialization teams in the initial evaluation of candidate sustainable materials, and completes appropriate manufacturing level qualifications for all materials new to use in Ferrero toys.
DOCUMENTATION AND RESULTS MANAGEMENT
Supports the developing and issuing (in alignment with Quality Surprises Regulatory) of clear procedures for all customized control plans including training and results tracking sheets.
Requirements
- Master Degree in Engineering or Scientific Studies
- PhD is considered as a plus
- Knowledge of Quality and/or Plastic topics
- 3-6 years of experience in similar roles (Design and Industrialization of toys, Plastic Quality)
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills are considered as mandatory for the role
- Open communication attitude
- Organizational Integration and network
- Flexibility, adaptability and aptitude to teamwork
- Experience in the use and application of Quality tools in high volume manufacturing environments
- High fluency in English (written and spoken)
- MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Availability to business trip and international mobility is mandatory
