Food Safety & Quality Auditor
For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Food Safety & Quality Auditor to join our Strategy & Innovation function.
By covering this position, you will assess compliance with Ferrero’s Quality and Food Safety Policy.
You will evaluate food safety, regulatory, and quality levels in new acquisitions, businesses, related parties, and suppliers.
In this role, you will conduct Food Safety and Quality audits across the Ferrero supply chain, including industrial plants, hazelnut facilities, co-packers, and re-packers.
You will perform audits based on the annual audit plan or special requests, either individually or as part of a team.
Also, your responsibilities will include pre-audit data collection and analysis, reporting, and communicating the official results, as well as collaborating on follow-ups with internal experts and management teams.
Moreover, you will audit assigned sections for large industrial sites or manage independent audits for smaller sites.
You will support audit team capability-building activities and handle back-office tasks such as database management, assigned projects, and training.
You may also be assigned to projects with other departments like Food Safety and Quality, Industrial and Supply, EC Staff, IT, or others as needed.
On top of this, you will develop and build relationships with internal customers in Industrial and Supply, Food Safety and Quality at both Headquarters and local Business Units.
Other key relationships will include Plant Directors, Area Quality Directors, Plant Quality Managers, Warehouse and Supply Managers, and Contract Manufacturing Managers.
Finally, you will travel globally around 50% of your time to support business needs.
You will bring your educational background in Food Safety, Quality, Food Science or Biology with Lead Auditor, IRCA, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 certifications.
Also, you have experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment in dairy, chocolate, or biscuit organizations with at least 5 years of working in a plant environment as Quality Supervisor.
You will bring knowledge and practical experience in Food Industry and Quality management systems, including auditing across the manufacturing supply chain.
Finally, you are demonstrating your proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP with your fluency in English.
