About the Role:

Are you interested in bringing enjoyment to the life of our consumers through our high quality, premium treats? We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the fast-paced Thorntons brand team.
You will be involved in ad-hoc projects and key activities (e.g., communication and media) and supporting the team with report preparation. You will also be involved in business follow up and promotions execution, with a relevant involvement also in portfolio execution activities.
You will be actively involved in tracking and monitoring brand performance within Nielsen and Kantar, while supporting the BM with developing brand presentations for commercial sell-ins.
Support in the creation of new product briefs for the R&D team, analysing both market opportunities as well as factory capabilities and financial understanding of potential NPD. By continuously working with the R&D and Plant teams to try and find improvements as well as cost efficiencies across the existing portfolio ranging from ingredients to packaging to artwork.
You will support the implementation of advertising strategies received from the Marketing Manager & Senior Brand Manager.
Who we are looking for:
You will have marketing experience and familiarity with Nielsen/Kantar, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will be able to articulate the brand strategically, strong project management & prioritization skills, with great analytical abilities (Microsoft Excel).
You would have a special connection and passion for the brand, with a keen eye for emerging trends. Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading, and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals.
