About the Role:
We are looking for a Quality Panel Supervisor to join our North American Market Quality team! This position oversees the collection and analysis of in store key performance indicator (KPI) data that is required to measure product freshness and other critical quality indicators. The Quality Panel Supervisor leads a group of full-time quality auditors (the panel) via a third-party partner who collect the data from retail stores across the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for the system processing of collected data and ensuring all data collected meets Ferrero methodology and is accurate, timely and relative to the measurements required. The Quality Panel Supervisor recruits, trains and supervises all the individuals in this group.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage external team of retail level auditors and drive intelligence gathered through the organization with a focus on freshness at point of purchase.
- Execute product quality audits monthly to assess deeper quality attributes such as packaging, physical characteristics and inherent product performance within multiple retail channels.
- Lead third-party agency in terms of compliance to contractual requirements and Ferrero methodology to ensure alignment in objectives and execution of auditing responsibilities.
- Full scale training of Retail Auditors (the panel) including field work nationally.
- Assist in leadership of internal sensory panel as it relates to product freshness.
- Daily reporting to analyze and identify short-and-long term product quality performance, trends, and patterns. Identify and mitigate risks.
- Communicate clearly with members of the Ferrero Quality Team and other functional areas to drive awareness of quality at point of sale with a focus on continuous improvement.
Who we are looking for:
- Ability to travel 40%-60% depending on projects and team status
- Knowledge of audit best practices and systems
- BA/BS Degree with 2-5 years within a Quality role (food/consumer products industry preferred)
- Knowledge of USA retail market
- Experience managing third party relationships
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with others in a consumer focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (internally & externally)
