About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for an intern who will join the Category Management and Executional Excellence Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the cross-functional projects with strategic Marketing and local Trade Marketing/Category Management teams to bring the right focus on Sales/Category dimensions;
  • Fostering the business intelligence for the category/channel in scope to develop a solid Group understanding and formulate insights and recommendations for the strategy development;
  • Supporting the Shopper Marketing/Category Management analyses to create deep and actionable insights 
  • Providing insights and analysis for the development of a full portfolio architecture (focus on selling unit – Trade Unit) for the category in scope
  • Contributing to the translation of the Category/Trade Marketing strategies into actionable activation guidelines at store level (‘picture of success’) for the channel 
  • Prior to new launches, supporting Category Manager to provide Central Marketing with insights and recommendations on the key commercial domains (i.e. Range recommendation by channel, pricing strategy, category vision and selling story etc.);
  • Monitoring & tracking of new launch and portfolio projects to ensure key timings and deliverables are successfully achieved
  • Develop a good level of Retail /Category Management /Shopper knowledge & understanding to be able to nurture all stakeholders, also looking into more disruptive channels & new trends.

Who we are looking for:


  • Bachelor/Master Student or Graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields;
  • First experience in a Category Management, Trade Marketing or Marketing position or in the FMCG sector or Consultancy is considered an advantage;
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills;
  • Dynamic, proactive approach with an ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong attention to detail and result-oriented mindset;
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment;
  • Good presentation skills and ability to work with different levels across the organization.

IT Skills

  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel);


  • Fluent in English;
  • Any additional language is a plus.
