About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Insights Manager who has worked within the eCommerce space. To provide essential and valuable insights to Digital, eCommerce and other teams through reports, analysis and investigation to better understand the market trends and consumer behaviour. To produce data which presents important product and company performance against the rest of the market and key competitors. It’s a role that utilises your strong communication and research skills, where you can work as part of a wider team but it also allows you to work autonomously. This role is part of a large but very supportive team which is always looking for people who have innovative ideas for processes and projects.

Main Responsibilities:

You will collate and deliver data, creating the appropriate tools to support across your team and the business. You will be supporting delivering insights and providing adhoc analysis. It is paramount for the data analytics provided to be the best in class so candidates should have a keen eye for detail and be extremely analytical. Adhoc and regular reporting (monthly or day-to-day) will need to be run, internally and externally. Candidates should be confident in how to get the data and build up a dashboard to present this.

You will also need to drive and maintain the eCommerce project and the media spend, creating a strategy, advising how and where the company is performing and making recommendations of the right media content we should have. You will also be driving the category strategy and get involved in Taxonomy, NPD recommendations, Promotional recommendations, Media and eContent. A key part of the role is maintaining a relationship with the team’s data providers. You will liaise with the account managers and build the right tools to work together effectively. Another part of the role is managing budgets and the tracker, you will also need to create analysis from there.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have experience of data and insights within the eCommerce space, so strong organisational and analytical skills are essential. You will be able to build and manage stakeholder relationships, at senior level. This role would suit candidates passionate about insights and someone who has a good understanding of how the business is performing. You will be comfortable with reporting and presenting to the board and key stakeholders. Experience of managing budgets and spends is essential to the role, as well as being able to report on updates and progress to senior level colleagues.

This is a very busy hybrid role where you will be fully responsible for two specific areas; data insights and budgets. A degree and an advanced level of Excel are ideal for this role.
